Mech combat meets farming

Bounty Star is a 3D action game that combines the exciting worlds of mech combat and bounty hunting with the soothing experience of farming and base building. In this game, you'll take the role of an ex-soldier and expert mech pilot named Clem as she fights against the violent criminals and dangerous beasts in the Red Expanse.

Bounty Star also entails you to establish your base, which includes building out your water and power supply lines. This third-person shooter is set in a post-post-apocalyptic version of the American Southwest — similar to the backdrop for Fallout: New Vegas.

Build, customize, and fight

Bounty Star starts with you situating yourself in an isolated and run-down garage that will serve as your base of operation. There's a lot of work that needs to be done. You have to add power supply lines, build animal farms where you can raise different creatures and plant resources, and create workstations to produce your ammo and fuel. This base will also serve as your home.

When you're not building your home or farming, you can customize your mech — the Desert Raptor MKII. It has extraordinary power, but you can improve it further since it's a highly-customizable battle vehicle. That means you can boost it with both offensive and defensive systems such as high-powered melee weapons, explosive firearms, high-speed thrusters, riot shields, and other valuable upgrades.

Once you're happy with the upgrades, you can start taking bounty-hunting jobs. The Red Expanse is littered with dangerous criminals and beasts that you can freely hunt down in exchange for government cash. With this thrilling objective, an incredible setting, and soothing side gameplay, it’s bound that this action shooter game will require high system requirements so you can play it smoothly.

Release window update

Bounty Star was slated for release sometime in 2023 on various platforms. However, publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer DINOGOD have delayed the launch of this 3D game to early 2024. The move was announced during the Annapurna Interactive showcase, though reasons for this setback were not disclosed. The announcement was accompanied by an overview trailer that showcased game mechanics such as customization, gameplay, graphics and other key aspects.

Bounty Star will give you the ideal combination of action-packed mech fighting gameplay with the relaxing routine of side farming and base building. Hunt down mercenaries and beasts as much as you can to earn enough cash. Customizing your mech is enjoyable as well, especially when you equip with it awesome upgrades.
